Prior to the arrival of USS Warspite, the Fletcher was the newest ship in Taskforce 42. She is likely to remain as one of the groups most useful assets.
The New Orleans class packs considerable punch and strong shields into it's diminutive hull, and as such is an ideal heavy scout and escort class. Precisely what duties the Fletcher will undertake now that the USS Strasbourg a Kaiserin have arrived remains unclear - but she is likely to excel at whatever she does.
The crew of the Fletcher remain relatively unfamiliar with their new charge, but will surely grow in stature as they gain experience.
