Hello everybody, this is Bi Qi from sleepless Seattle. Looks like everyone
had great time in Las Vegas. Although I can't make it this time, I look
forward to our next reunion party. At the same time I enjoy reading your
posts (took me few hours though to read), and enjoy sharing the excitement
and great memory with all of you.
In short, I just like to drop a few lines to brief whereabouts myself (In
response to Xu Fan's request for those who unable to attend the reunion): I
came here in late 1988 and stucked here ever since. Completed my masters in
both Geophysics and EE from University of Washington, and worked in the
telecom/software industry since 1992. Joined our 847 family are my wife
Sihong Deng, a ZhongShan University alumni(84-Biochemistry), and my son
David Bi who will turn five this May, and our up-coming second child. As a
family, we enjoyed northwest very much, even during the winter raining
season. We figured that Starbucks Coffee started here may have something to
do with the weather, but life is short we can't complain too much rather
should enjoy what we got...
