October 9, 2000 My
fellow workers, This is
just a note to keep you up to date on what’s happening. Jim Asher, Sharon
Miller and I have accepted an invitation from the Company to attend an
off-site staff meeting at which the Company plans to discuss their strategy
and business plan for the future. Larry Solow (the training guy) will also be
on hand to talk about work groups. We’ll be out of the plant today and
tomorrow, and will deliver a report on the proceedings at our October meeting.
And
speaking of the October meeting, I’d like to remind everyone about the
importance of attending. We have some serious business on our agenda this
month. Don’t give up your opportunity to have a voice in what goes on in our
Union. In
