Wish Original Soundtrack
Track 3: Chu Chu
Translator comments: This song doesnft actually have any direct relation to Wish itself, but itfs on the Wish soundtrack anyway. The notes in the beginning of the CD booklet say that after doing the other 4 non-BGM songs on the soundtrack, the two members of Ali Project realized they still hadnft come up with any Wish songs having to do with unrequited love. They then played around with random tunes on Arikafs Mac and Katakurafs guitar until they had Chu Chu. In Japanese, gChu Chuh is the sound that songbirds make. This is a reference to the birds mentioned in the song, and possibly to those which befriend Kohaku in Wish.

1. This is just counting from one to four in French. I didnft translate it because I figured most people would know this already.
2. Ifm actually not sure if this is whatfs being said in these last two lines. This stanza uses a verb form I was just barely touching upon when my study abroad semester in Japan ended.
