Track 6: Sanctuary
Translator comments: Arika of Ali Project says in the CD booklet that she wrote this song with Hisui's image in her head, keeping Hisui's relationship with Kokuyou in mind. Knowing this, the song's metaphors are fairly obvious, and we can see that it's really about how Hisui was freed from a life of obligation and servitude as the Wind Angel when s/he fell in love and eloped with Kokuyou, as told from Kokuyou's POV. It's very pretty if not exactly melodic, and I wonder if Hisui's wind elemental nature had anything to do with the vaguely chaotic arrangement. Parts of this song sort of remind me of a Jo Hisaishi score, but I'm probably dumb for thinking that.
