Memories of Loren McAdams
From her friends and Co-workers
in the Quality Assurance Team
at Ceridian
Loren was a dedicated employee. She always displayed a positive attitude and went above and beyond for customers and Ceridian. She won a Ceridian Star Award in 2006 for significant contributions. She held a certificate in Project Management and used these skills well in her position. She was easy to talk to and had a good perspective about the
world. She had a wonderful laugh and a sweet, calming voice. She loved her boys very much and spoke of them often. Loren's passing is a huge loss for us and the world.
She will be missed very much.

When I think of Loren, the first thing that comes to mind is her angelic voice. It was her voice that I feel enabled her to be so effective as a project manager here at Ceridian. She
was able to push very hard to drive closure to issues and projects, but sound so sweet doing it! Loren always stayed positive, even when under great stress. She was a great listener as well and truly cared about her co-workers.
She would tell me stories about her Toastmasters meetings, she really enjoyed that. Most of all she was proud of her boys and loved to talk about them at any opportunity.

Loren was a wonderful coworker. Her cheerful voice, kind words and positive attitude were always uplifting and made working with her an enjoyable experience. Loren
will be truly missed, but never forgotten.

When Loren first joined our team and was introduced on our weekly conference call, I immediately thought that she would be easy to recognize because of her sweet voice. I always knew when she was talking from
that point forward. I had never seen her photo but I just knew she had blond hair and looked like an angel. After seeing her photo recently I was right!
Towards the end of September we had a meeting about project management and people were asked to share their techniques. Loren spoke a lot during that meeting and had a lot of great tips and advice that I have
adopted. I got to know her a lot during that call and I had a great respect for her work. We were hoping to do another session in a few months because it was such a success, mostly because of Loren's input.
She was so caring and helpful to the team. She touched all of our lives and was so special!

I’m ashamed to say that I really didn’t know her that well personally. I knew her through Brenda and when she came on the team. We worked together on a couple of projects. She was always eager to help the
customer and had great insight into dealing with them and their issues.
~ Bo Shirley
Loren was always the voice of calm and reason even when there was a storm swirling around her. I always admired this very much about her.
She was extremely professional and very good at what she did making sure everyone was always updated, that projects timelines were met, obstacles dealt with and issues resolved and when necessary would direct the customer (nicely) to a positive outcome for everyone. I am glad
to have the good fortune to have worked with her on several projects and to have learned a few tips from her on how to manage difficult customers or co-workers to ensure everything was resolved satisfactorily. I will always remember her sweet voice and humor and the moments we spent
talking about non-work things which showed what a wonderful person she was. I'll certainly miss her a lot and was very saddened to hear of her passing. I'm sure her family can rejoice in the life that she lived giving so much of herself to
her work and friends and family, how lucky we were to know her.
~ Maria Aldaz
Loren was a wonderful person to work with and have on our team. Although I only got to converse with her directly a few times over the past year or so, I could tell even over the phone that she was a bright,
happy person. I remember quickly being able to laugh with her about the situation we were working on. While the work was serious, she helped make our attitude and approach lighthearted and fun. She will be greatly missed by us all!
~ Mike Sousa
I never met Loren in person, but in the few times I did get to speak with her on the phone, she always was so friendly and had the sweetest-sounding voice. I feel
really blessed to have worked with such a wonderful person.
I extend my deepest sympathies to her family and her boys.

Although I only knew Loren for a short time and only by voice, she was always so kind and full of life. We both worked as a Project Managers and had many accounts to manage, but she would always be so vivacious and this amazed me! We had many conversations about
work, our accounts, and how we were managing our projects, but never talked about our personal lives. I know that I’ll miss that sweet little voice on our team calls and those quirky moments when things didn’t seem to go quite right, but only Loren would experience them. That would be funny because she would even have to
laugh about it herself, but she still took everything in stride. I miss her and pray for God’s speed healing for her family.

I did not know Loren very well, however I had the opportunity to work with her with a couple of projects. Loren was always so cheerful and sweet.
I do not know if I know anyone who had a sweeter voice. Even when a customer was not happy her sweet voice seemed to make the atmosphere so much better. I am blessed that I got to work with Loren on these projects as she was such a
good Project Manager.

I regret to say that I had just gotten to know Loren personally over the last couple of months. Aside from being great at her job, she was very sweet and compassionate. She told me how much she loved her life in Florida and spoke of her boys with great pride and much love. We talked about the funny Christmas
decorations down there like the fake snow globes and the Santas in Bermuda shorts.
Loren was incredibly encouraging and supportive of me during a recent illness with my baby, I really appreciated her care and concern.
She was a very special person, and I'm thankful that I was able to know her.
