While developing i often need to search the drive for specific information that often is packed in zips, hidden for the various search tools. I couldn't stop myself to build before scanning the web for an existing solution...
Usage: Simply type a search string in the left combo or select a previous one.
Choose a directory or file to search and hit enter or press Start.
Select the Case checkbox to force a case sensitive search.
Select the Verbose checkbox to have a visual impression which files are currently scanned.
The File Pattern is applied to the files that are scanned, while the Zip Pattern is only applied to files within zips.
Entries in the result list can be removed by selecting them and pressing the DEL key. Files from the result list can be searched separately if the in Result checkbox is selected. If it is selected, the directory is ignored when searching.
