CHARACTER NOTES:

Emma Colt, a native of Houston, Texas, is cut from the same mold as many Texas greats before her. Specializing in the roughneck style that comes naturally to Lone Star state grapplers, Emma is as tough as they come, able to absorb massive amounts of punishment and still fight back. Unfortunately, with her roughneck style, her speed has suffered. If she has an Achilles heel, it is that she is not agile as many of her opponents.

By the side of her friend Kelly Winchester, she is half of the Texas tag team "Young Guns." What Emma lacks in agility, Kelly makes up for with her "brawlucha" blend of brawling and high-flying impact moves. Emma's sights are set on the UWE Women’s Universal Tag Team Titles and whoever may be wearing them at the time.

At the moment, the thorns in Emma's side are Tiffany Park and Tonya Holvin, known as "T.N.T." Being the "society ladies" they are, they believe themselves superior to just about everyone, and said as much at the first meeting of the full UWE roster. This didn't set well with the defiant Texan and only quick intervention of UWE Commissioner Robert Gordon and a promise to enter both teams in the UWE Women’s Universal Tag Title Tournament calmed the situation... but how long it will remain that way is just a matter of time.

SIGNATURE MOVES:

• THE IRON CLAW: a standard claw hold, though Emma does wear a fingerless black leather glove on the hand she uses to apply the hold.

• THE LARIAT: a devastating left arm clothesline favored by numerous Texas superstars through the years.
