GCWA GALACTIC HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE #1 CONTENDER'S MATCH

Rising to the occassion, as we've come to expect, ACTAGON defeated WOLF in a relatively short contest, rendering him unconscious in the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP.

GCWA GALACTIC TAG TEAM TITLE #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
In impressive fashion, The Flying Titans, LORD NEXUS and PULSAR, defeated the Neptunian Space Croppers, BEAST-RIDER and RENEGADE, when Pulsar pinned Renegeade after the WHIRLWIND.

GCWA INTERPLANETARY HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
PROTEUS easily dispatched Gladiator MASSCRE, pinning him after the OVERHEAD TOSS, as the Gladiators continue fall deeper into their slump.



GCWA NEWS UPDATE
Two big statements came the week of Shootout 2087.

Dominance. That one word is the only way to accurately describe THANTOS' reign as GCWA Interplanetary Champion. Only one person has defeated him in singles action since winning that title. That has eaten away at the GameMaster...

"No one in this sad promotion can take my title. Wolf, KRAKEN, Actagon, TERROR, NEXUS, VIPER, MASSIF, none of them have defeated me... and none of them can. Only one person has beaten me, kept me from the ultimate proof of my dominance. COMMANDER SAM has the GCWA Galactic Title and he is keeping me from it. He was issued an open contract for anyone who wishes to face him for the title? I'll avail myself of this opportunity, but only after I prove my dominance. I am issuing my own open contract. I'll grant one title match to each so-called wrestler that has not fallen at my hand in a title match until I've defeated all grapplers in this company, leaving a trail of broken bodies on my road to the Galactic Title. The MASTERLOCK will reign over the GCWA!"

The final announcement came in the form of a brief statement from the returning living legend of GCWA and two-time former Tag Team Champion OMEGA...

"It's good to be back. I'll be back in action at Shootout, but I've heard a lot of talk about my son and I reuniting to pursue the Tag Titles for a third time. Let me set the record straight. Star Warrior and Massif are the Champions. And, in the event they do lose their title, my son is his own man and he has all the tools to be a great heavyweight champion. I'm happy I had the chance to be my son's partner, but he has his own legacy to write. I, however, am not going to stand still. I think I've got one more good run left, and I starting with the Gladiators. They put me out for 2 months. It's time they paid for that mistake."
