Becky Styles' Backstage Pass

UWE FRENZY - Card 01.02 - Year 2003, Week 2
UWE Extreme Arena - Pittsburg, Pa.

I'm Becky Styles and I'm back again, giving you the 411 on what you didn't see this week at the Extreme Arena. The quarterfinals of the UWE TV Title tournament are almost set, and a lot of bad blood continued to boil in the locker room. Of course, I had my UWE backstage pass in hand and my mini-tape recorder ready...

Independant wrestler Josey Allen, called "Pure Country" took the fight to "Rising South" Rachel O'Haire, and Rachel's temper got the better of her with a steel chair shot drawing the DQ. To say the least, "Pure Country" wasn't happy...

She had this to say, "I tell ya', seein' Rachel in the locker room over the past couple a weeks and fightin' her tonight, I don't think that witch's been the same since that house fell on her sister. Wanna take my head off with a chair? Let's see ya try it!"

An upset Rachel O'Haire did have a comment of her own, "Why, that little lady is so misguided. I apoligize for losin' my temper and actin' in such an unladylike manner, but I can not abide by such an afront to my honor. Why, callin' me a witch, I never. If this lady, and I use the term loosely, wants a rematch, I'll give it to her with pleasure."

A rematch, under no disqualification rules, has been ordered by the UWE Commission.

Backstage, we saw caught up with Carla Smith after her win in the TV Title tournament, and to say she was elated would be an understatement. Here's what she told me, "This is great! My first night with UWE and my win in UWE. I know that my technical style isn't what a lot of fans like, and I know it doesn't work all the time in the pro ranks, but it's all I know. I'm learning fast, though, and in a wrestling match, I can outwrestle almost anyone in UWE." She was going to go on, but Amy Adams approached us and wanted to speak with Carla in private. Now, ain't that interesting?

T.N.T. wasn't at all happy about the lose to Amy Adams tonight, and they were even less happy with "The Titan Doll" Naomi Paul. Tiffany Park told Backstage Pass...

"Look, that gnat buzzes around and thinks that she can play here? With the big girls? Nah, babe, you ain't got a chance. And if it weren't for you, Amy Adams would be watching Tonya win the TV Title from the cheap seats."

Tonya Holvin, after her check out with the trainer told us, "Hey, it's like this, they want to play 'team', then let them play with us. But, somebody best tell them that playing with T.N.T. will get them blown sky high."

When we found the Doll, Naomi Paul told us, "Amy wanted a favor, and I was happy to help. It's as simple as that. I'm new around here and I don't know people here too well, but Amy's a stand-up gal. If T.N.T. wants a piece of Amy and the Doll, and if Amy wants to party with me as a partner, then all I can say is... let's get the party started."

In simple language, I think that means "done deal."

Miranda Wright, the former Michigan State Highway Patrol Corporal, took out "Superbrat" Jennifer Summers to advance in the TV Title tournament. Business as usual is a good desciption of her attitude. She said to us, "Even in the extreme, you need law and order. That's why I'm here. And the challenge. Always the challenge. Jennifer Summers, good fight, but not good enough. I just want to know who's gonna join her... in LOCK-UP."

The handicap match was a brutal back and forth affair. But, the match was thrown out when Pam Packard attacked Vicky of The Cali Connection with Dreamer's ball bat. The shot from Dreamer to Pam Packard with the same bat made sure that no one left happy after that one.

The Cali Connection's "Malibu" Jane talked to me as her partner was patched up, "I'll tell ya', that Pam is like, such a jealous hag. She's so mad that she was an alternate and I made it to UWE on the first try. Well, Pam, you're here now. Just drop it, girl. But, no, you opened my partner up. The trainer says she needs time off to heal her back. A week or two minimum. That's cool, though, I don't need her for next week. I'm gonna break you in two, like, for sure."

Pam Packard gave us a few words, "What's wrong, Jane? I just wanted to say hello to Vick, that's all. Think she got the message? Better question is, did you? Yeah, girl, you got it. I want you. You made me look bad once, but you won't again. You're gonna break me in half? Baby, you ain't gotta prayer. You probably think that I want to get Dreamer, too, don't you Becky Styles. You're right. But, I can wait. I'm getting 'Malibu' next week, and she ain't nothin' on Newport Beach."

Heather Harte, over two weeks, has gotten two losses at the hands of Beckie Adams, and she is hot. But, for now, she's got another target in mind, "Cindy Majors, you are the reason I'm not in this TV Title tournament! And you are gonna pay. Oh, yes, I going to break your heart next, girl. Next week, no DQ, me and you. You come to the ring covered in the red, white, and blue? I'll make sure you leave the ring covered in red, white, and blue, too. Red with blood, white with fear, and blue with bruises."

The day the "All-American" backs off a challenge, I'll hang up my pass. Here's what she said, "Heather, you can shift blame all you want. Fact is, you lost. Beckie's in the tournament and you're not. You want me, no DQ, well, next time, watch who you call out. 'Cause when you call out an All-American, then you get more than you can ever handle."

Bad blood, brewing feuds, challenges thrown down and accepted, and it's only the second week. I love my job! See ya' next week, when I give you the dirt you didn't see, thanks to my backstage pass. Bye, now!
