The kick
off features musical and dance performances by Haruka Shoji from Konnichiwa
Japan, as well as members of UW Breakers, UW Hip Hop Club, WHISA, SASA, and
other Waterloo students. As well, Alana
Mascoll, speaking as a representative of World Vision, will be giving a short
talk and will be showing a 30 hour famine video. Lastly, an overview of events to come in the
following 30 hours will be given out.
