6 Man Scramble Tag Team match
The opening match to 2005 pitted 6 guys in what turned out to be a hardcore Tag match. Grant gave up half way through after a neck injury which left 5 guys against each other. Cheeko and D-Dawg brought weapons in and Cheeko got a lighttube smashed over his head. It finally came down to Decapitator and D-Dawg and Decapitator started arguining with special guest commentator Kraven. Decapitator turned his back but when he turned to face Kraven again he was nailed wih a chair which secured the win for D-Dawg.
Vitamin C vs James Tough
Hardcore match
Hardcore Championship
Vitamin C was very surprised to see James Tough come out and the two guys put on an awesome match with memories coming back from their match at NLC in series 1. They were both really destroyed and Vitamin C used a couple of finishers of the other guys on the roster to bring some extra flavour into the match. The end came after James was Overdosed onto two chairs and a street sign. Afterwards D-Dawg made his presence felt when he took out Vitamin C and held the hardcore title. In a quick interview he said he was coming for the Hardcore title next.
Ludicrous was interviewed and asked about this being his last match and all before Magic Man interupted and said he was walking out with the title today. Not long after Bison Fury appeared and said his piece before all hell broke loose between these guys. A load of other guys broke it all up.
Shortkut & Rambo vs Kid & Stejo
Tag Team match
Shortkut welcomed Raze as the newest Dominant Force member before the match got underway. Kid and Stejo managed well against Dominant Force and Kid even had a few low blows of his own. Shortkut eventually had had enough before he took out the referee (obviously making it look accidental) and then Raze and Kid fought while Stejo hit a Bulldog on Shortkut. Once Shortkut was back up he grabbed a street sign and nailed Stejo with it and then got him up and nailed him again with the Superkick. He got the pin as the referee came around to count the 3. Shortkut then held Raze up on his shoulders as Dominant Force celebrated with their newest member.
Ludicrous vs Magic Man vs Bison Fury
Triple Threat match
UWF Championship
Once all three guys were in Bison Fury smashed a think book over both guy's heads and then after Ludicrous came back with an attack on Bison, Fury took a seat with the commentators. Ludicrous and Magic Man wrestled it out before Bison came back and smashed a tray over Ludirous' head. Bison and Magic Man then teamed up for a little bit and weakened the Champ but then they turned on each other and Ludicrous really took it to them. Ludicrous powerslammed Magic Man from the commentator's table right onto some chairs below which then made Bison decide to leave. As Ludicrous looked to have it won Bison came back and then was Suicide DDT'ed onto a chair. Ludicrous then only had Magic Man to finish off, but the destroyed Rappa' somehow managed to avoid a Tomestone but then Ludicrous changed the move and executed a Styles Clash to secure the win. Afterwards the whole roster joined him to celebrate but Bison then came back and smashed Ludicrous through a UWF Billboard sign. Still Ludicrous managed to get back to his feet and scare Bison off as he let the whole roster know he is not leaving UWF. The show closed with Ludicrous holding his title.
The tension between Shortkut and Stejo is building each time they meet. Finally Stejo will get his title shot at Uprising. Can the rookie Stejo defeat the experienced Shortkut? D-Dawg attakced Vitamin C and let him know that he was coming after the Hardcore title. How will this progress at the next event? Ludicrous defended his title and said he was not leaving the UWF. Now he must go on to face 6 of the top guys including the two guys he beat today. How will the champ manage and how will Bison and Magic Man take to this match?
