This project for the Fundamentals of Raster GIS course, dealt with the spatial analysis
of Automatic Teller Machines (ATM's), specifically
Visa ATM's,
in the city of Peterborough, Ontario. The analysis provided potential areas
in the city where new ATM's could be located for the convenient access to cash. The
results of the analysis came about through spaitial analysis of the cities population
and the current location of existing ATM's. Factors such as age, income, commercial
areas, and density and location of existing ATM's were all taken into consideration
during the analysis.
