This project for the Advanced Database Programming course, dealt with the challenge of
creating a GIS database along with a graphical user interface (GUI) to interrogate it.
The user is able to query information about global health information gathered from
the World Health Organization
(WHO)
website, without having to remember and type query commands.
Through the use of of the GUI, developed using Visual Basic (VB) and MapObjects, a
user is presented with several options for querying and displaying the data contained
