The BUDDY BLAST
Surface Emergency Air Horn
The BUDDY BLAST is designed so that it can be easily operated by divers with cold/gloved hands in an emergency. There are no tiny buttons to locate. Instead, the high-pitched whistle is activated by gripping the entire body of the unit and simply squeezing the two spring-loaded halves together. The BLAST operates from a medium pressure hose and is designed to fit in-line between hose and A.P.Valve - either the AP200 jacket breathing valve/inflator or the Auto Air - alternate air source/inflator.
The BLAST has been made specifically to work in conjunction with these valves and is the only air-horn on the market that can be used with the Auto Air without impeding its normal breathing operation.
The BLAST comes in three versions: With Auto Air fitting, with AP200 fitting (N.B. The AP200 version connector will also fit other make inflators) or as a stand-alone unit.
