I haven't seen it all yet, but I've seen quite a bit. This is a list of the best MP scenes and sketches, in my opinion, that I have seen. Take a look and tell me what you think.
The Holy Grail-It was my introduction into the world of Monty Python and remains my favorite. I think the best thing about the movie is it's consistency. Start at any point in the movie and you'll find yourself laughing within 30 seconds. Every scene is funny, almost all of them are hilarious, and most bring out a whole new dimension of comedy. This is the best thing to show someone in order to introduce them to Python. Some choice scenes are; The Black Night, The Tale of Sir Lancelot (swamp castle), and the castle Anthrax.
The Life of Brian-The third of the Monty Python movies. There was a bit of a controversy when it came out (even in England) about the obvious mocking of Jesus Christ. But I think it was all in good fun. A bit bazzar but what do you expect from Python. Some of the highlights were the discussion with the PFJ(The People's Front of Judea) at the Colliseum, Pontias Pilate's speech impediment (especially 'wodewick'), and the opening scene.
Episode 1-"Whither Canada"-This is just f-ed up. I mean some really weird stuff! John Cleese's voice talents are obvious, and we are introduced to Terry Gilliam's odd animations. Then the boys do something they will do time and time again. Dress in drag. Apparently whizzo butter tastes exactly the same as a dead crab. A really good joke can kill, but don't worry, joke warfare was banned with the Geneva Convention.
Best sketch-"The Funniest Joke in the World"

Episode 2-"Sex & Violence"
And now for something completely different... A man with three buttocks. As it opens we learn that a clever sheep named Harold has convinced the other sheep that they are birds. All kinds of men are becoming addicted to being mice! "I belive we should kill em off."
Best Sketch:"Flying Sheep"

Episode 3-"The Larch"
Could you recognize a Larch from quite a long way away? Does your wife enjoy 'candid photography', nudge nudge knowwhatImean? Who is Bicycle Repairman? This episode dares to ask these questions. When I first saw the dirty fork sketch I couldn't stop laughing! Pure genius. One of my favorite eps.
Best Sketch: "Dirty Fork"

Episode 4-"Owl Stretching Time"
'Art Gallery' shows us a great crossdressing sketch. "But its my only line!" 'It's a dog's- er, man's life taking your clothes off in public- stop that!' 'You shot 'im dead!' A great ep, along with my fav sketch. The Dentistry spy sketch gave it and extra half star, "Didn't it Flopsy?"
Best Sketch: "Self-Defense Against Fresh Fruit"

Episode 5-"Man's Crisis of Identity in the Latter Half of the 20th Century"
"I admit it, I'm a clock smuggler"... "I don't believe you." This is an informative episode. Learn how to smuggle clocks. See how to confuse a cat from the professionals. Learn how to conduct a very silly job interview, "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0!" Learn to burgularize legally. "Now, lets ask a man in the street what he thinks." "I'm not in the street ya fairy!"
Best Sketch: "Clocks Smuggled Directly From Sweden"

Episode 6-"Its the Arts"
"Beethoven, Chopin, panties-sorry" I hope you don't have a craving for the finest crunchy raw unboned dead frog. The life of a city stock brocker may be boring, but the world around him is goin to hell. There is also Johan Gambolputty devon Ausfern-schplenden-schlitter-crasscrenbon-fried-digger-dingle- dangle-dongle-dungle-burstien-von-knacker-thrasher-apple-banger-horowitz-ticolensic-grander-knotty-kurtslinch-himbleeisen-bahnwagen-guttenabend-bitte-ein-nurnburger bratwustle-gerspurlen-mitz-weimake-luber-hundsfut-gumberaber-shonendanker-kalbsfleisch-mittler-aucher von Haukopft of Ulm.

Episode 7-"You're No Fun Anymore"
That's it! If anyone else uses my phrase I will throw them under a camel! It's awful! Normal people are being turned into scotsmen! Who could be doing this, and why? So, it's the blancmanges, and they mean to win Wimbledon because scotsmen can't play tennis. But they didn't plan on Mr. and Mrs. Brainsample eating them. I should probably dock this ep half a star for making fun of scotsmen, but I have a good sense of humor, so I won't.

Episode 8-"Full Frontal Nudity"
I must protest. This scene is entirely too silly. This parrot is dead, deceased bereft of life, it has expired and gone to meet its maker... This is an ex-parrot. This town hasn't been the same since the Hell's Grannies moved in. Beatin up young men and all.
Best Sketch: Dead Parrot

Episode 9-"The Ant, an Introduction"-A great episode with arguably the best song produced form the show. None other than the Lumberjack song! A salute to cross dressing. Some great stuff hear! Does Mt. Kilaminjaro have one or two peaks? And try to keep from getting a tape recorder up your nose. I don't believe that it is at all healthy.
Best Sketch: Lumberjack Song

Episode 10-"Untitled"-A bank robber is in a lingerie shop, what a strange person. Did you know that terriers make wonderful fish? Oh, and if you want to be a lion tamer then it is best to know what a lion looks like.

Episode 11-"The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Goes to the Bathroom"-I must ask everyone to leave the room... no one must be asked by me to leave the room... Ahem, Introduce me to allow myself. Tonight on "Interesting People" Mr. A. Byan is stark-raving mad, and a man claims he can put bricks to sleep with hypnosis. After seeing the first 10 eps (since this review is looong overdue I watched this ep for the 1st time a while ago) I was dissapointed at 1st with this episode. John Cleese made the Mystery sketch quite funny, but that was only about 2 minutes. However, I was rewarded later in the ep with one of the few bits of pure physical comedy that has made me laugh hysterically, "The Reenactment of Pearl Harbor." It also gained a half star for the topless ladies in the History sketch.
