Subject: Please drop charges aginst Yao Fuxin and Xiao Yunliang
Mr. president of China Jiang Zemin
I write to ask your intervention, in the case of the workers
Yao Fuxin and Xiao Yunliang, that as far as I know don't have
other charges against them but "illegal assembly, marches, and
protests" although recently the chares were changed to "subversion".
¿Is it subversion to ask for justice? ¿The claims expressed by
those workers in their, as far as I know, pacific protests aren't
claims for jutice?
Since I respect the freedom of associtation, the life, and the
justice, and since until now I see in their actions nothing but
justice seeking, I ask you humbely to drop the charges against
them. According to the information available at:
http://hrw.org/press/2003/01/china010903.htm
the current charges could even lead to death penalty. Please, don't
kill people who looks for justice pacifically. Life and freedon
are gifts from God.
I could have wrong information, if possible I ask you to inform
me better.
A colombian who wishes the peace of God
