Imagine yourself watching a Russian movie where a couple of cosmonauts (C1 'n C2) land on Mars:
C1: "Our lander is experiencing a trivial mulfunction that will nevertheless jeopardise our lives and our mission."...and the point is? Most of the movies made in the West contain boatload of stereotypes. While this all is understandable, I still can't understand why most of the Hollywood directors shooting multi-million dollar movies can't pay 20 bucks to some guy in Brooklyn to get real Russian words instead of collection of Cyrrilic letters. There are some free translation services on the Web, I mean common guys! I'm not even going to get into some of the "Russian dialogue" I hear sometimes.
Soooo..... here is my Random Russian Name generator. It's not much, but it's a start for the lazy producers to get more creative names besides Boris and Natasha.
