The Santa Cruz trip
Pluses
The trust activities were fun. The 4x4ing was fun. There was okay last
minute planning. There was good potatoes and chicken. Hollister was a good
4x4 place.
Deltas
There was no surfing. There should have been better planning. More time for
4x4ing. Some pancakes were bad. We never had to go to SeaCliff beach. We
could have gone to the beach near the place we camped.
6 month calendar
April 5th Gun safety. Planned by Russ Forthuber. You need to go to this
activity to shoot at Nejedly. At Contra Costa Gun Range. 222 will be there.
April 12th. Amanda Smith's ceremony. Morgan hill. Call Greg if you want to
go. We're not going as a crew.
May 3 Jeep 101. Tom Harryman planning. Opie's mom might be going. We are
either going to Hollister or Prairie City. This event is open for 222. Do
they have their own 4x4 vehicles.
Bryan has a 4x4. Rich has a 4x4. Tom has his jeep.
May 17-18 District Conservation Project and Camp out. Trail is already
built. Need to plant shrubs, posts, spread bark. Expecting 150+ people.
June 20-21 First Aid/ CPR training. At Duck Club. Planned by Marie.
Nejedly July
After dinner every day there is an activity. ~8 adults going. 27 kids max.
~125 to secure position for Nejedly.
Do we want to drive locomotives?
Sept 26,27,28 Venture Crew Shooting Rdvue. Jessica planning.
Aug 9-10 Water Activities.
