The first unabridged classic I  read was 'The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' by Sir.Arthur  Conan Doyle in class VIII.

Since then, I've been reading continously over the years (many of my grades have suffered due to that), though  I've slowly moved on from fiction to nonfiction. But nothing, I repeat nothing, compares to a story well told. And so here I've complied what  I found to be THE good books over the years.

1. Fountainhead - Ayn Rand

3. Surely you are joking Mr.Feynman - R.P.Feynman

4. Anthem - Ayn Rand

5. O.Henry Short Stories

6. Short Stories - Saki

7. Timeline - Michael Crichton

8. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Last but not least, I like the Harry potter series too.
