I grew up wanting to enter UP for college. My mind was set that the University is the only place for me. Hehe, big dream, huh? Oh well, obviously, my dream became a reality. Now that I am a certified iska, I am so thankful (and will forever be) that I have found a circle of friends who share with me my ups and downs, my happy and sad moments. In the equally challenging and fulfilling world of Communication Research, they are my co-survivors. During those times when I feel so depressed, and my only resort to release the pain is to shout out my angst, I just look around me and there they are, more than ready and willing to listen to what I have to say (because we all have the same sentiments).

We spend most of our days together in the UP CORE (our dear org) tambayan. What do we do there aside from making tambay? Hay, anything and everything under the sun! Picture-taking, lying on our favorite banig (which was recently destroyed by a cat by vomitting on it..Yuck!), exchanging the latest happenings in our lives, sharing chismis, laughing, voicing out our never-ending complaints, sometimes there are the inevitable "pikunan" moments.. Name it, we've experienced it. Hehe. =)

And oh, by the way, if you want to learn the latest entries to the gay lingo, feel free to mingle with us. In a week's time, I'm sure you'll get used to our kabaklaan.. and unconsciously transforming into one "vakler" yourself. It's fun. Really. =)
