CHARACTERS

People don't like to talk about the characters they've created. They think people will take the out of game knowledge and bring it in game, which is technically called cheating. Because people don't like to talk about their characters, I think I might just talk about...stuff...and a little about my character(s). If I LARP with any of you guys who are reading, this...please don't bring this in game.

Dark Dominions:
This character was terminated due to the reboot:
In Dark Dominions, I play a Toreador (the name of a Clan) named Victoria (how original I am). She was Primogen of clan Toreador (which is like the head) until my friend Hank's character made a large boo boo which caused the Prince (like the mayor) of the city to become enraged...and strip all of us of our status and give us the negative status trait "worthless." She is having quarrels with a man named Marcus who tried to "take care of her" so he would obtain the position...which didn't work. Victoria is basically the kind of person I would like to be if I were a tight-ass, confident bitch...I like the confidence and sophistication of her. She is a doctor and knows what she talks about. The story takes place on an Island that doesn't exist...and things are relatively quiet except for strange explosions, earthquakes, and mysteries.BUT there are police, National Security, and investigators wandering around because of strange occurrences...it's all a mess right about now. I can't remember.

Character (#1) in the new run...also terminated due to reboot:
Rachael, a wraith. Her background is still a little sketchy. Since the run takes place in Alaska, I have decided to have her be a native - an eskimo, or Inuit. She was killed when she was 19, that was two years ago, by a polar bear. She therefore has a phobia of polar bears, even in death. She practiced magic during her lifetime in Alaska and one of her prized possessions is a necklace she was buried with. It was supposedly her lucky charm. She also loved to go into Jake's store, that was known for their magic supplies. Jake, the owner, only a few years older, was in love with her. She never noticed. He can still see her spirit haunting the town. It's amazing to realize that ghosts can die...because Rachael is no more. She was tossed into the tempus by Greg Buckley's character who was taken over by his shadow.

The war between us and the technocrats is over. We killed lots of them and the rest have fled. yay.

When the technocrats ran rampant, plotting their evil ... plots, people were seen recording data of the wraiths they see (some have special capabilities or through a special video camera). The technocracy are people that don't believe at all in the supernatural, even though they are supernatural creatures themselves. They plan to find all supernatural creatures and capture them and experiment on them, and eventually kill them.

Now that Rachael is dead, I made another character, Sahar. She's an Eshu - a changling. A fairy. No, she's not gay, she's an actual fairy.

Character # 2 in the new run (see above):
Her name is Sahr. She's an unceily fae. Eshu. The name actually was an accident. I had originally forgotten to give her a name after I created the character so when Hank's character asked me what my name was, I turned to the closest non-gamer person in the area and asked her what her name was. She said Sahr, and I nodded and turned to Hank's character and replied "Sahr." Now that the technocrats are gone ... and suddenly all the wraiths in the area are missing ... the wonderful GMs have decided that the fae should be the next in turn to be obliterated ... we have four of us left ... and we're all unceily. Yay.

Character # 2 in the new(er) run:
And yet again, there has been anothe reboot. I am a storyteller. Yay. Adam and I made up some great, great plot this summer. Boy how I wish I could share it with you, but i can't.

Setting: Las Vegas, Nevada. Circa 1995.

One problem with being a storyteller is that you have to stop what you're doing to run through scenes with people. They question my authority because a) i'm a girl and b) because they think i dont know that much about vampire. They're wrong. What i say goes. If they dont like it or question something, I say "fuck you, i'm a storyteller" or say "do you know my character? Do you know her stats? Then you don't know why she can do this." The otherproblem is that since you're constantly working the plot, you're switching from PC to NPC a lot. This doesn't leave much time for developing your PC.

NPC - Mara - part of a group called the Oculum Deis. The eyes of god. It's kind of a mix between the X-men and the talamasca. We watch, research, and report...and try not to get killed by all of the vampires in the area that think we're a threat. We interfere only when it is completely and utterly necessary.

PC - Julia - Brujah. DEAD People keep giving me shit because i have puissance. I used lots and lots of exp to get her to puissance. I really dont know very much about her and what her place is in the las vegas area. She's kinda goth and punky with a sort of bad attitude. She's a brujah. What else do you expect. Boy, that was stereotypical.

Ahrah plot has been ... taken care of. We move into something a little different now. It's different because i'm running it. Adam's going to be doing his own plot and i'm doing my own plot. Of course, i had some help along the way. Thanks.

Goose's run:
It takes place either in North Hampton or Amherst. The great thing about it is that it is in public; an actual town where there are "normal," every day people. There are rules (you will read about under the Dark Dominions site) such as the Masquerade that we must abide by, and so with normal people everywhere so...I guess it's easier to slip into character and treat these rules we abide by as if they actually existed. My character's name is Mona. She's a caitiff (has no clan) who honestly thinks she belongs to clan Toreador. She's into the Martial Arts and is basically a kick ass character with a rather strong personality which can be incredibly outgoing, but also forceful. You'd know about it. She's very violent and not really into the politics and trading of influences around town. Things are mostly "taken care of" on the inside. It's not really something she enjoys. she likes to beat things up and not stand around while everyone attends meetings.

Orlando by Night (cancelled due to the lack of interest by the GM)
It takes place in Orlando (duh). My character's name is Kazumi Watanabe, AKA Kaz. She's Japanese and carries around a nice nice gun, chopsticks that can be used as stakes, and rides a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle (enter Brandon enunciative here). Her Japanese accent is fake ... just for kicks. She's a Toreador-antitribu (that's bad, for all you non-gamers) and is currently joined with a Sabbat back that's about 10 people large. That's really large. We kill people, people in Disney costumes (It's Disney World!), and just recently we went Trick or Treating. You have to understand that the Sabbat version of Trick or Treating is different from the traditional method children use today. We will ring people's doorbells very late at night ... on a night that is not Halloween. If the person looks puzzled and gives us candy anyway, we say thank you and leave. If they don't have candy or are rude, we play a trick on them. Since we are vampires ... and we are evil (notice I made the distinction), we don't merely leave flaming bags of poop or toilet paper their house and car ... but rather take their car, light it on fire, and drive it into their house, making one massive trick. Oh what fun chaos can be.

Werewolf (cancelled due to the lack of interest by the GM)
Judith. I think her nickname should be "Judith states the obvious" because that's what she does. Since the run has recently rebooted, there's nothing really juicy to report. Amanda and I are in a pack called Uktena with Brandon and Brendan. Brendan's a lupus and it's really great to watch him RP it out. Brandon's the alpha...and boy is he an asshole. man oh man. I'm a ragabash, uktena, rank 1 werewolf. I'm not sure if I like it yet. I'm more of a vampire person, but ... you know... I guess i'm open to new things. It seems really fun...once things pick up.

Rage n' Mage (cancelled for unknown reasons...most likely due to the lack of interest by the GM)
Jesse. A caitiff vampire. She's a punk, filled with attitude. She's a grad student at UMASS, never caring enough to go out and find other vampires. A loner, a rebel. The one night she does, she realizes vampires are a minority here while shapeshifters and mages are predominant. She doesn't know a damn thing about these creatures, so she tags along with them...until she discovers the hard way that shapeshifters don't really like undead things. They want to kill them, as a matter of fact. Meanwhile, there's apparently a doppleganger wandering around, killing cops and doing strange things that she gets blamed for. She almost gets cut into pieces by some shapeshifters when the police arrest her for murder. So...first night out...and things looking kinda glum. Luckily within the last 10 minutes of the run I came across the vampires...yeah that was great. But so far, things are going ok. Unfortunately, I have to make my own fun because all the other vampires are always off on their own adventures (also known as plot).
