SODALITAS
VERMICULI
TEMPLE |
Hello and Welcome All!
I'm Uy'gy-uth'yg, affectionately known
as "Ooey Gooey." I'm the brother of Y'hna-uth'yg of the Esoteric
Order of Dagon who is also the Lama of Leng for the Tcho Tcho People and many
others. I mean, Y'hna-uth'yg is that. I'm not. I am also the brother
of Chmo-uth'yg, also known as Jomo.
I'm the current head of the Sodalitas
Vermiculi. Let's dance!
Before you read on, I need to ask
you to please not listen to or believe a word of that silly propaganda against
us that has been spread by evil, vile Satanists. They lie. Of course they
lie. Most Christians, Moslems and Jews don't know anything about
us, so they have not said anything against us. In fact, some few have
joined us after running into us! That should count for something,
right?
And definitely ignore anything and
everything ever said by that Taliban-minded, kiddie rapist Abdul Alhazred. He
was insane, even his fellow Moslems called him the "mad Arab," and
he had no idea what he was talking about.
We are a caring group of highly individualistic
types of people and other things, as you can see from the publicity photo below. We
like to dance, too.
After getting out of a super massive
black hole (we Yuggya have the most advanced technology in the Cosmos, so don't
worry, it wasn't hard) and after visiting the topmost terrace of the highest
mountain of R'lyeh, I returned home to Yhe and then I danced. Then I had a dream. Yes,
I had a dream.
I
was standing at the beginning of time and I took a kind of general and panoramic
view of the whole of human and other history up to now.
Then,
out of nowhere, the Lord asked me, "Ooey, which age would you like to
live in?" Well, the Yuggya Collective has been around since 425 million
years ago, so it wasn't an easy question.
I took
my mental flight by Antarctica and Alanhati and I saw God's children in their
magnificent revolt against those others that enslaved them, toasting the crinoids
as they danced to freedom.
I took
my mental flight by Egypt and I saw God's children in their magnificent trek
from the dark dungeons of Egypt on toward the promised land, dancing all the
way there.
I moved
on to Greece, and took my mind to Mount Olympus. I saw Plato, Aristotle, Socrates,
Euripides and Aristophanes assembled around the Parthenon. I watched them around
the Parthenon as they danced to the pipes of Pan and discussed the great and
eternal issues of reality.
I saw the developments around the Roman Empire, through various emperors and
leaders and how slaves danced after they earned their freedom.
I saw
the day of the Renaissance, and got a quick picture of all that the Renaissance
did for the cultural and aesthetic life of man. Some new dances were invented
there, too.
I saw
1863, and watched a vacillating president by the name of Abraham Lincoln finally
come to the conclusion that he had to sign the Emancipation Proclamation. And
the people set free danced.
I saw the early thirties, and saw a man grappling with the problems of the bankruptcy
of his nation. He came up with an eloquent cry that we know all too well for
it was first known by Ubb, our parent. He said that we have nothing to
fear but "fear itself." And there was jazz and people danced.
But
now I see trouble is in the land; confusion all around. But I know, somehow,
that only when it is dark enough can you see the stars. And I see God working
in this period of the twenty first century in a way that men, in some strange
way, are responding — something is happening in our world.
There
is a cry heard over the globe: "We want to be free." Freedom is what
we are all about.
We
have been forced to a point where we're going to have to grapple with the problems
that beings have been trying to grapple with through history, but the demands
didn't force them to do it. Survival demands that we grapple with them. Everyone,
for millenea now, has been talking about war and peace. But now, no longer can
they just talk about it. It is no longer a choice between violence and nonviolence
in this world; it's nonviolence or nonexistence. That is where we are today.
I can remember -- I can remember when Shoggoths were just going around scratching
where they didn't itch, and laughing when they were not tickled and daring
not to even think a thought of their own. But that day is over.
I had a dream, a dream where all types
of beings can live together and dance together: black, white, green, gray, striped,
dotted and hued; hairy, smooth, scaly, slimy, wet or dry; a dream where a day
would come when all beings would put aside their bigotry, prejudice and phylumism,
when things that walk, crawl, slither, burrow, and swim can all hold on to each
other and love one another in unity respecting and recognizing the dignity of
all in the Grand Web of Life.

Below you can see the Sodalitas Vermiculi
Temple. To the right there is a Yugg and to the left there is a Shoggoth to
show we are not prejudiced against anyone. I'm standing in the center, that's
me. You are truly invited to join. Doesn't it look like fun?
