DEPECHE MODE
June 27, 2001.  Madison Square Garden.  New York.

I've been "waiting for the night" to fall with fantastic and legendary Depeche Mode "songs of faith and devotion" in the Garden.  "The horniest boys" were "sharing the free love" from the new album "Exciter" and just as excited singles from their previous albums of '90s and '80s.  The decorations, light, and huge screen on the stage with hypnotizing actions keeped me in "the sweetest conditon".  However, our attempts to record a part of the concert on the video tape failed and the tape was taken away from us by the production group staff.  "It's no good"...  Though, "I felt loved" and "dreamed on" and on.

May 18, 2001.  Orion Palace.  Brooklyn, New York.

Vopli Vidoplyasova is in New York again. Dancing, jumping, screaming... Thanks to Oleg Skrypka and the band  for such an amazing night.  The concert took place in a restaurant where the audience got a closer contact with the "Tantsi" Stars.  Above are the pictures from this concert done by me.  Click here to see VV last year New York gig.

AQUARIUM / BORIS GREBENSHIKOV
w/ Nastya Poleva
January 18, 2002.  Irving Plaza.  New York.

Should I mention something?..  He comes with his sound and the word.  And we see "the Heaven becomes closer with every day." He appears with his meaning: so deep, independent, pure, optimistic, and simple.  Rock legend, singer, poet, and  more...  Rastamans from all over - get united.  Drink and smoke away - Aquarium is on the way.  Would you like "to be the fastest fish in the world?"  Grebenshikov is a constant visitor of NYC.  Despite such a long time on the stage, he always gets together an incredible number of people in this crazy city and elsewhere.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Summer 2003. Continental Airline Arena. New Jersey.

"Standing in line to see the show that night" and "a light on heavy glow", I just try to say I was "there waiting for..." The "wave can't stop" started 2.5hrs. later after a few heavy loud bands did the warm-up on that huge NJ stadium. The Peppers ran out onto the stage just as red hot as they always were, "sucking the kiss", "giving it all away", jumping and making some weird sexual moves, as I think of Flee now. They did not wear socks on the cocks, but were stripping to the certain extend. The Californicators let hear a great deal of good stuff, so it was not a "one hot minute" but rather "blood sugar sex magic" instead. "By the way I try to say I was there waiting for..."

Marilyn Manson
