Kelly is a Junior going for her BSED in English with a Religious Studies minor. She got involved in the VM through the Women's Center and Robin Garrett because she wanted to be a part of a huge movement to end violence against women.Kelly was so moved after reading the book she knew "I wanted to help in any way I could." She would also like to thank "Adolfo Rivera and Laura Shay for the huge amounts of time they put in trying to prepare me for this role; Robin Garrett and Paula Penningtonfor just being amazing women; my mother, father, grandmother, brother, and my cat who supported me even though they couldn't be here; but most of all, for every person who has been an inspiration to others and stood up against violence.
