Eligiblity Condition and Admission Procedure

Admissioon to each course ,except that for Certificate and Diploma courses in russian German French and Jyitish, shall be based on merit to be determine by the enterance examination in the maner hereinafter provieded, subject to fulfilment to minimum eligibility conditions, provision regarding weigtage to different categories of candidates and reservation of seats.

2.1 Eligiblity for admission (General Eligiblity Requirements)

  • M.Phil. (Two Semester course ) :

(a) Hold at least a second class Master' Degree with 55% or more marks in subject concerend. And (b) (1) Has passed Becholar's Degree Examination with at least 50% marks. (2) has passed Intermediate examination with at least 50% marks. Or Passed Becheloar's Degree and Intermediate examination with second division sepreately in each examination but with an aggregate of 55 percaent marks in Becholar in Becholar's Degree examination.

  • M.A., M.Sc.,M.Sc. (Ag) (four semester):

Admission to all Master degree courses shall be open to a student who has passed Becholar's Degree in second division with at least 55% and must have offerd the subject at graduate level in which he/she is seeking admission. Or has passed Becholar's Degree examination with 55 % marks and has obtained second division marks Intermediate in the 10+2+3 system of education.

  • M.Ed. (two semester course ) :

Admission to M.Ed. course will be govered by the conditions laid in relvant G.O's in operation. however an applicant will be eligible for admission to this course only when he/she obtained 50 percent marks sepreatly in theory and practical at B.Ed. level. Or has passed B.Ed. degree examination with 55% marks and has obtained second division in graduation. Therefore, Only those students whose B.Ed. result are complete on the date of applicant may apply for admission. The merit of an applicant will be calculated on the basis of his/her full marks in theory and 50 percent marks in practical in B.Ed. or an equivalent recognised examination plus marks obtained in enterance test for M.Ed.

Admission Test

The admission to all courses offered in the university Campus (except Diploma Courses in Russian German French and Jyotish) shall be based on the admission test conducted by the university for the purpose. The test in each course shall consist of 100 objective type questions with four multiple choice answers having only one correct alternative. For each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded whereas one mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer. The final tally of marks awarded will be calculated out of 100.

Course Content

For admission to M.Phil. Courses, the test would be based on the course content of M.A.,/M.Sc./M.Sc.(Ag.) degrees of the university departments college of the CCS University in the respective subjects. For admission to M.A./M.Sc. the test would be based on the course content of the relevant subjects of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc.(Ag.) of CCS University. However, for admission to M.A. (Economics), the test will be consist of two parts, the first will contain question of economics (Undergrduate level) while the second part will contain question of Mathematics (Intermediate level). Candidates would be required to attempt any one of of the parts. Medium of entrance test will be English. Fee:-The fee for Entrance Test is included in the cost of the broucher (Rs.300/- in cash from Allhabad Bank,University Branch, Meerut and Rs. 400/- by registered Post).
