After a long gap, Geekmail is back.
This time I'll be talking about the latest rage, the *Mobile*.
Mobile phones are actually a special form of Cell Phones. The ones
we we use are actually cell phones and not mobile phones.

What are cell phones?
=================
Cell phones or Cellular Phones are a sophisticated
versions of our very own radio.
They allow yoou to
* Make and Recieve calls.
* Send and recieve text messages
* Browse the internet.
* Play games.
* Listen to music.
and the list keeps on growing.....

What is a CELL ?
============
Cell phones work on the principle of Cellular network.
In a city area of around 26 Sq Km is divided into a
honeycomb structure called a CELL.
Every operator is provided with a certain low power frequency range.
The operator then divides this into 7 bands for each cell, so a phone uses
1/7th of the frequency band. The frequency can be reused in the non adjacent cells.

SIM -> Subscriber Identity Module
CDMA -> Code Division Multiple Access
WAP -> Wireless Access Protocol
GSM -> Global System For Mobile Communication.
