Some undisclosed tips for Nokia Users

This time round I will talk about some of the access codes for Nokia phones.
I have not tried them on other Phones, but their equvalents can certainly be found.
1) '*#0000#' type this without quotes on you phone. you get the following screen
" v 05.21
24-01-03
NAM 1 (c)
NMP "
Here " v 05.21" is actually the version of the firmware loaded.
"24-01-03" is the manufacturing date, I don't know about the rest..
2) '*#06#' gives you a 15 digit serial number, it is your Handset's Unique IMEI number.
3) '*#92702689#' or for easy remembering '*#war0anty#'
the following is obtained
* serial number
* Manufacturing date
* Purchasing Date
* Repair date
* Transfer User data(I don't know what this is for)
* Life timer( duration ofactual use of your phone).
you will have to switch off your phone to return back to normal.
4) '*33#0000#' disables all outgoing call, the sanity can be restored by '#33#0000#
5) if you want to format your phone for some reason, press and hold
Call, 3 and # and poweron your phone, all security features will be bypassed.
