Yellow Tip Torch (Euphyllia glabrescens)

Light: Med to Med High Water Flow: Low to Med Very Aggressive

Has a branching skeleton with single tipped polyps. When extended each branch resembles a torch.

Long Tentacled Plate (Heliofungia actiniformis)

Light: Medium Water Movement: Low to Medium Very Aggressive

Both Plate and Disk corals are capable of "walking" by tissue inflation and deflation.

NOTE: Care should be taken not to trap air bubbles underneath during tank placement. This may eventually lead to tissue necropsy and death.

Green Open Brain (Trachyphyllia geoffroyi)

Light: Medium to Med High Water Flow: Low to Medium Aggressiveness: Low

A conical base and figure-eight shape is characteristic of Open Brains. Two distinct colors, red and green, are commonly available.

The red morph does tend to require less light than the green. NOTE: Iodine is essential for proper growth.

Swollen Brain (Blastomussa wellsi)

Light: Med Low to Medium Water Flow: Low Aggressiveness: Low

Individual polyps with central mouths is the distinguishing feature of this coral. When fully extended polyps can obscure the skeleton making it

resemble a colony of mushroom anemones. This species is most noted for it's brilliant red morphs, altho orange, green, and brown are common also.

Button or Doughnut (Cynarina lacrymalis)

Light: Low to Medium Water Flow: Low Aggressiveness: Low

Button is a unique single polyp that can inflate to a surprising size in low currents. The tissue has a translucent appearance that looks easily punctured.

It is very tolerant to different lighting conditions which makes a excellent choice for newer reef keepers with some experience.
