yup, I drew it Anime

I do not know how complete or accurate this list is, but here is what I've found of Ohta doing voice-over work in anime, with a description of the anime (if I have one)

Dr. Slump by Toriyama Akira, creator of Dragonball Z. Ohta voiced the character of Taro. He is actually credited with Dr. Slump 1998, which according to my research wasn't actually written by Toriyama. **UPDATE** I finally got to see some episodes from the late-90's series! It's brilliant. I could say Ohta did a good job, but like, that's his job, so I expect it ^ ^ It is great, I wish I had more episodes. Apparently it's been dubbed in Italian or Catalan or both, it's hugely popular over there. I'm jealous. I think the American fear of scatological humour will kill any chance of it's airing on network or Cartoon Network, but there's always Comedy Central (hint hint!!) It is *so* funny. I'm looking at this list of Ohta's work, and I'm thinking how lucky he is to be involved with such great endeavors. Iron Chef, Dr. Slump, Dragonball... these are my favourite things!

Dragonball GT based on characters created by Toriyama Akira, but not following any manga storyline. Ohta voiced the character of Kibito Kaiohshin. You have to understand how I feel about Dragonball. I have yet to see GT, and from what I hear I will be ... vexed... by it, but Dragonball is my favourite thing in the world. I love it more than Iron Chef. I would say bordering on obsession. Others would say way past the border. I've been learning Japanese so that I can read the original manga. When I'm done with all of them, I'll be fluent in Japanese filthy man-talk ^-^ Just so we're all clear on this... I LOVE DRAGONBALL. Toriyama is a genius. I thank my Kami for his existence ^-^

Sailor Moon Yes, that's right! The anime based on the manga of Takeuchi Naoko! He played the part of Urawa Ryo, aka Greg in the American dub. He also voiced Ned in episode 108, where they go to that English party.

Marmalade Boy anime based on the manga by Yoshizumi Wataru. Ohta voiced the part of Miwa Satoshi. I've not seen this show or read the manga, but apparently Miwa is the president of the student council in the main character's high school. Trivia: Satoshi is Ash's name in the Japanese Pokémon series. That leads me to mentioning that Takeshi is Brock's Japanese alias, and that leads me to Kaga Takeshi (Chairman Kaga of Iron Chef), who voiced the evil guy in the Japanese release of Pokemon the Movie 2000 (aka Lugia Bakutan). On the Japanese page of Ohta works he is credited with a Pokemon entry, but as I can't find any correlating information I can't say much more.

Getter Robo Go! if memory serves me right, this was a 1991 film based on the classic anime.

Magical Tararuuto-kun Ohta did the voice of the Left Glove. I have no idea what that means, as I've never seen the show. It looks adorable, though, I may have to check it out sometime.

More to come, keep watching this site ^_^
