A Real Friend...(In spite of her busy schedule, she took time to write back...AFTER I CALLED HER SNUB...he,he,he...)

"Yes it's ok to put me on the distribution. I love to read all the stories. If you only knew what load I got, anyway no excuses. I can take few minutes to respond I guess, ha ha... As you can see it's Saturday, but I'm here at work. I'm supposedly trying to finish the annual review for my team it was due yesterday, but got extended, so I have few hours to work today and get my act together, hey but I will take the time to respond to you though."

On Lakan-Dula Days....

"I'm not like Solomon who has amnesia! I remember all the fun stuff we did at Lakan Dula, I can even draw the place and the wonderful p.e. place we have on top of the building, the wonderful lagoon by the front office. I can even name some of the janitors i really got along with, ha ha... I even remember the stores around Lakan Dula!

Unforgetable Trip...

"About my family, there's not much to say. I don't know where you want me to start. My family and I left P.I. April 1981, before we settled In California, we took mini vacations. We went to Australia, that was my most unforgettable trip. We were at first class section because my dad used to work for Qantas airlines back at P.I. so he was able to get us good accomodations. I was so sick from the long trip, I forgot how many hours from P.I. to Australia. I got sick at the plane while walking to the hallway trying to run for the restroom, I wasn't able to hold it and the poor guy next to me was affected. Mind you that was first class, lot's of guys on business suits. But the guy was so understanding, he didn't even get mad though his suit was ruined for the day. He ven asked me after the plane landed if I was feeling much better. Bless his heart whoever that person was. Next we went to New York, Dallas, New Orleans, then we finally settled met the rest of my brother and sisters who has been residing  in California."

Job Experiences...

"My first job was helper at grocery store. Then I also experienced working as a cook, cashier at a little eatery place at Woolworth Dept. Store in a Mall. I was so new doing cashier work, one con man was able to cheat me with his money. He played tricks on me, that made me out of balance at the cash register, the manager of the place had a talk with me. I was so embarrased, I told him I was willing to pay for the shortage, just take it out of my wonderful pay check. That time I forgot how much I was getting paid. Anyway, after few months, my sister Millie convinced me to apply for a job at a locak bank, so I got the job as a teller. It was funny when I was quitting my job at Woolworth, when I told them that I will be working at a bank, one person gave me the look like I committed a crime with what happened to the cash register one day, ha ha.. I worked as a teller for 3 months, then I got promoted right away to the customer service area. Then I moved up to be a note teller, who processed mortgage payments, take care of vault processing also. After working for a year at Los Altos Branch (Farmers & Merchants Bank) i received a call from the corp. secretary they were offering me a job as an assistant loan secretary at a different location. I was shocked of course I accepted the job. Later on, I found out that the manager I used to work for on the first branch recognized that i was a good worker and he recommended me for the job. From then, i worked had of course, got promoted to be the senior loan secretary for that branch. I worked for Farmers & Merchants Bank for 7 years.  I am now working for Bank of America -Commercial Loan Service Center at Downtown Seattle. I manage the ALS (Advanced Loan System) team we document all kinds of business loans. This year will be my 14 years working for Bank of America."

Family Life...

"I met my husband at a local hospital in California, when I was visiting my mom when she was sick. Mind you it was my mom who gave my work number to this guy who was taking her blood for a test. I had a chat with him when he was at my mom's room. From then it escalated. We decided to move here in Washington to get away from the rat race at California and get away from the thick dark smog everywhere. We moved here when Holly was 6 mos.old. (Holly Kit was born November 24, 1988 at Thanksgiving Day!). When Holly was 5 yrs. old came another baby Bryce Austin- born February 14, 1993. Yes same birthday as yours. Believe me I didn't plan for any of these it just happen. Who wants to eat hospital turkey at Thanksgiving Day! I am active at the church I attend name "Fairwood Assembly of God" It's a pentecost church. I am assign 3 times a month as a greeter. I also helped out after the first service ; to watch some toddler kids during the second service. My daughter is 14 yrs. old and at 8th grade Middle School, Bryce is 9 yrs.old going ten on 14th of Feb., he is currently 4th grade at Elementary school. We do fun activities like camping, innertubing, etc with some families from church. I will be visiting California this coming December 2003,to celebrate my mom & dad's 50th wedding anniversary. I will  be leaving with my brother Arn and his family who also resides in Washington. My neighbor actually. The rest of my family sister Liz , husband and 2 kids  resides at Anaheim Hills, CA;,Millie and husband at Anaheim, CA;Olga, husband and 2 kids at San Diego, CA & Froilan, wife and 3 kids at Huntington Beach,CA, lots of aunts and uncles at Pasadena, CA. Not to mention some of my relatives currently in Australia."

Notes & Suggestion...

I have met Ernie Mercado, he came to Washington for business trip and he contacted me and I met him for breakfast before his flight last month.Talk to you later. I suggest when you put the pictures on the web, could you do me a favor put a caption somewhere. By just looking at the picture I can't really tell who each person is, how about put their names on the actual picture. It's been so long some of the faces I can't recognize the person. Just a suggestion. Thanks.
