Name:
Hildegarde Mariana Colleen
Otherwise known as 'Hilda' (parents) or 'Gardy' (friends)

Position:
Artificer - Trainee

Age:
15 - female

Physical Description:
Short and Stocky but with delicate hands perfect for small gadgets. She has dark brown hair that is almost black and eyes to match. Favorite colors to wear are deep purple and (luckily for her) any color blue. She is only seen in a dress or skirt on special occasions, otherwise preferring a knee-length tunic with hose and a shirt underneath. Nothing much to look at, Gardy is unsure of her romantic prospects.

Personality/Attitude:
Gardy is normally quiet, reserved person although if she gets started on her particular subject (any kind of miniature gadget) it is nearly impossible to shut her up. Her quick temper is legendary but she does not know the meaning of the word 'grudge'. She is pessimistic by nature and often struggles to see the bright side of things. She is often deluded into thinking that she does everything for the world and it does nothing for her.

Brief History:
Brought up in a household of Artificers, Gardy had little choice as to what she was to become, luckily she proved to love making gadgets (which never worked) at around the age of 9 and was happy to continue on the family tradition. This satisfied her parents (Danya and Kurt) and helped them reconcile with her brother (Wolfram) who became a guard instead. Gardy comes from a small village in the part of Valdemar often referred to as 'the middle of no-where' and she moved to haven at age 12 to begin her traineeship.

Goals:
Gardy's main goals in life are to become a master and teach others about her gadgets. She wouldn't mind getting married one day, but being a born pessimist she feels that day will never come.

Gifts:
She is only gifted with intelligence which would be much better utilized making things that actually work - not those crazy gadgets. Her teachers aren't even 100% sure she should even BE an artificer.

Author's Comments:
Maybe a career change somewhere - depends how it goes. I haven't really decided yet. One thing that is definite is she should probably get a love interest somewhere down the track which helps change her pessimistic nature somewhat. Apart from that we'll just see how it goes - any suggestions will be welcomed.
