Physical Description:
Grey Katara has earned her name with both her appearance and her personality. She dresses only in shades of gray and black. Her 6'0" frame is thin but well muscled. Her black hair is waist length when loose though it is rarely seen in anything but a braided tail. Her loose fitting clothes and extra long hooded cloak hide her true shape from all but the most discerning. And her silver gray eyes are most disconcerting to many who meet her. Her complexion is well tanned despite what might be expected, her face is soft but angular. Her high cheekbones set off her wide eyes and accent the scar that runs from just below her left eye to her left earlobe.

Personality/Attitude:
Very quiet and solitary Katara is not one for making friends, however the few she has she is committed to wholly and would give her life for. She is not particularly bookish but she does have perfect visual recall, once she's read or seen it she never forgets. Unfortunately this isn't quite the case with audible information and she will generally need things repeated once or twice to commit them to memory.

Brief History:
Born in Rethwellan Katara was abandoned at an early age. She grew up on the streets until Kisra, a female assassin, picked her up. Kisra taught Katara all she knew of thievery and assassin work. Katara never took to being an assassin very well except in the cases where the only justice was death to the evildoers. When Kisra finished her training Katara went out into the world looking for `good' assassin jobs. She traveled most of the known world and learned much including nearly every language of the main trade cities. When the Mage Storms struck Katara was travelling near the Pelagir Forest of Valdemar. Seeking shelter she ended up in a Waystation. Unfortunately the edge of a wave apparently affected something in Katara's mind freeing Gifts that had until then been only in potential. Knowing she would need help with training these new Gifts before they went rogue Katara awaited the next Herald to come along and got proper directions on getting to Haven in the most timely manner. She then set off with her stallion Karis.

Goals:
Katara mostly wishes to train her Gifts and then move on with her life. She has no other set goals at this time.
