Physical Appearance:
Nothing Special, blond hair that is usually in a pony or pig tails, or braided. She has emerald green eyes. She is usually seen in brown skirts and white tunics. She would almost remind you of a peasant girl the way she dresses and looks sometimes, except she is not quite a peasant really. She is of average height and fairly skinny. Her skin is pale with a peachy complexion.

Personality:
Jacqueline is very shy and quiet. She is very hard to get to talk; you usually have to do most of the talking. Once you get to know her though, she is very loyal. She is skeptical towards other people’s intentions at first due to her history and other things. She is very emotional and hates confrontations. She is easily hurt by what other people say and their actions.

Brief History:
Jacqueline is the love child of Lord Daren Destera and Jacqueline’s mother (Victoria).

Or love child is a nicer term to call Jacqueline. Victoria fell in love with Lord Daren when they were young. Victoria was a child of a middle class merchant family and met Daren when she was in the richer part of the city selling her parents crafts.

Daren basically used Victoria for his own pleasure. He never had any true feelings for the girl, but let her go on believing that he loved her. Victoria was broken hearted when she discovered that Daren was betrothed to another woman. Victoria prayed to all the gods of Valdemar to make something happen that would not allow the girl to marry Daren.

One day months later Daren returned to Victoria. He told her the news that he had not married the Lady Kethry. Victoria was overjoyed and she and Daren courted for another few moons. Soon after Daren left Victoria again in search of the Lady he was to be betrothed to, yet he did not tell Victoria this. He told Victoria that he left in search of a job, and would one day return to her.

Victoria went on believing Daren that he would one day return to her. Soon after, Victoria discovered that she was with a child. She birthed a girl and named her Jacqueline. Victoria and Jacqueline lived alone in a home near the center of Haven. Victoria’s parents helped her make payments and Victoria continued to make and sell her crafts. When Jacqueline was old enough, she too helped her mother in selling her crafts. However Jacqueline discovered she had a very weak Gift of empathy, and was sent to get trained in one of the houses of healing in Haven. Now that Jacqueline is partially trained she serves as a helper and is learning the skills of Healing to help her mother earn more pay.

Gifts:
Empathy: Weak, and sometimes unreliable. However it comes in spurts. Sometimes there are strong unexplainable bursts of the gift throughout Jacqueline and sometimes it is not very active at all.

She is slowly learning the skills of a healer and though she is not a very “Gifted” healer, she is a full healer through her skills and training in Haven.

Goals:

1. To become a Healer and help her mother earn extra money.

2. To find the man who is her father.

3. To show people you can be a skilled healer without the average Gifts
