Name:
Koyamaru

Nicknames:
Koya

Position:
Gryphon

Age:
28

Physical Description:
Koya looks like he is more suited to life on cliff sides rather then teaching. His large, broad paws are covered in extra fur and his hind legs are extremely strong. His tail is almost as long as he is, and is very fluffy.

Personality/Attitude:
Koya is extremely patient with people, and only yells if he, or someone he knows, is being scrutinized. He can not stand people who stab at each other's backs, and will often make life miserable for those that feel that they can do anything. He will, however, let them live with some of their dignity in tact if they admit that they where wrong. He pushes people to their breaking point and past, because he knows that their limits are things that they set inside themselves without ever really testing them. He hates confined spaces, and will often make excuses to be outside.

Brief History:
Koyamaru has been to three different mage schools. He did this because he felt that he needed to know more then one way to look at magic before he could truly understand it. He always loved to share his knowledge with others and he heard once a person say how great of a teacher he would make. Koya went immediately to work, trying to find a place where he felt he would be welcomed to help. He only just started teaching at a Mage School.

Goals:
To help his students not grow dependent on magic
To show them, his students, alternatives to using magic
To help them survive

Gifts:
Mage Gift (Adept)
Mindspeech (it is good, but not the greatest. He can talk but not for too long, and not if the person is more then 7 miles away. The only exception to this is if he is touching the person that he is talking to)
Empathy (very weak, can only really sense anything if someone is in a very extreme state of emotion)
