Personality:
Kyan is very intelligent and aware of the world. He is very kind and caring and shows a lot of the characteristics of his father. He is a bit emotional, like his mother was, but does not let that interfere with his work. He is very loyal to his family and friends. His best friends are Nightstar's twins. Kyan is very level headed and often finds himself mediating in his friends quarrels.

Physical Appearance:
He definitely looks like the son of Kethry and Ryan. He has dark brown wavy hair that he usually keeps short, and pale bluish green eyes. His skin is a light tan and he has a stronger build like his father. He is of average height for his age. He wears average tunics of grey and brown colors, and when he is chosen he is always seen in his trainee grays.

Brief History:
Kyan was born to the Herald Mage Kethry Beltran, and Healer Ryan Beldar. He never knew his father, and really didn't know his mother. He was orphaned at the age of 1 year old. His father had died from Hardorn attacks before he was born, and his mother died sacrificing herself for her duty as a Herald. He only knows his parents by the stories his caretaker Sunrise and her colleagues who knew Kethry and Ryan, tell him.
He was raised his entire life by Sunrise, a former hawkbrother mage and border scout who recently came to Haven with the new alliances being made. She cared for him as much like her own son as she could. She really truly loved Kyan because his mother was such a close friend to her. She also had help from her colleagues Nightstar and Rhialo for they were close friends with his mother and father as well.

He was chosen at the age of 11 by the formerly unpartnered companion Lyanna. Lyanna too was friends with his mother and could share stories with him. He grew up with Lyanna as friends because she was friends with Sunrise, as Karal and Florian were friends. When he was finally the right age she chose him and he was enrolled in the Heraldic Collegium.

Personality:
Lyanna has a very "auntie" type of personality. She is a friend to Kyan and is always willing to tell him stories of his parents. She was good friends with Kethry, and sometimes goes overkill on the stories, but Kyan soaks up everything she tells him. Lyanna makes it her responsibility to watch over Kyan, sometimes a bit too much. She knows how his mother and father would have adored Kyan so she takes great pains into not letting their memory go to waste. Sometimes her over-protectiveness annoys Kyan but he knows she's only doing it because she loves him.

Goals:
1) To help where needed.
2) To learn as much as he can about his deceased parents.

This will be interesting having to play a character all through their life! Well see how it goes.
