Name:
Lighteningsong K'Vaia

Bondbird:
Kade (A kestral)

Position:
Scout/boarder guard

Age:
16

Partner:
'Songs patrol partner is rather odd one to have and she will admit a great deal more irritating. She is mindmated to a female Kyree named Danya. Their friendship stretches back into 'songs younger days, for she was mindmated to Danya at the tender age of ten.

History:
Her mother was a master class mage and her father an Adept, and they were disappointed to say the least to find that their daughter bore no other Gifts besides the all too common Mindspech and Animal Mindspeech. As a result 'Song grew distant, for they never hesitated to make they're disappointment, even scorn quite clear to her. As a child the only friend she had was Danya and pretty much the only person she would even talk to besides Kade.  All other the other children in the Vale were inclined to leave her to herself, after her express avoidance of them and when she couldn't manage that, things sometimes escalated to physical fights. Her parents gave up on her entirely when she reached the age of thirteen, at which point she moved into her own ekele and took a position as a Scout. After that she may as well not even have existed to her parents, not that she had much time to see them, as she tended to shy away from any and all festivities despite Danya's coaxing.

Personality:
Her name says it all, a complete contradiction. Lighteningsong like to think herself fairly simple, little does she know her own complication. Because her past cause to to get distant she has remained so for so long she doesn't even realize it anymore. The only person who can say that they really know Lighteingsong is Danya, even as the only one 'song feels that she can trust is Danya. She is antisocial to say the least, if it were her decision she would take the night patrol, the only thing stopping her is the fact that Kade can't fly in the dark and that Danya refuses to be dragged out into the middle of the night. Even as an adult she keeps mostly to herself, the only time she is ever even noticed is when someone is talking about her hunting skills. For she is known as one of the best hunters in the Clan and has even been known to defeat a pack of three Wrysa within her own territory, single handedly. She has never been offered a feather nor ever been shown any hint of affection from the male community. Which, she won't admit is really one of the reasons she keeps to herself so much. To others she seems indifferent and impassive, no matter how dire the circumstances. She has a great deal of patience when such things are needed, and surprisingly has a fantastic sense of kindness. She is one of the more senior Scouts for her age and while not entirely understood, she is respected and when she does chose to give her opinion it is usually heeded and listen to almost with an awe for whenever she does speak she has something important and useful to say. Around Danya she can be completely herself, with a wicked sense of humor and a sensitive nature. She is in all actuality a very good scout and a very good person, but she is used to being ignored more often than not and no one has ever taken the chance to figure that out. But otherwise she is quick-witted and very good at arguing her piece if she feels something is wrong with the Elders actions and has been known to even get the better of them a time or two.

Appearance:
She looks just like any other Tayledras, her features are chiseled and well defined. Her eyes have retained their natural sapphire, untouched by the heartstone, rather than the ice blue that most Tayledras bore. She wears her hair at waist length, and dyes it molted brown in the summer and fall, dark green in the spring and
her natural silver in the winter. She is slim, limber and her figure
has developed with her scouting exercises, of course in her uniform she looks just as sexless as a Kal'endral, at least to an outlander.  She is neither attractive nor unattractive, she simply is and when she is not in her scout gear, she tends to wear whatever blends with her surroundings.

Why Haven?:
One word, "Chosen."

Companion:
Ditallian (a stallion)
