Personality/ Attitude: 
highly skittish, with a nervous dispossition around men (part of the reason she stays at the collegium). Highly strung with a temper to match her gift. 

Promise is a strong-willed but patient stallion 

Brief History: 
was raped at 18 at a hunt party. was found the stables by one of the men and this set her firstarting gift loose. She burned down the stables, killing 3 horses, including her beloved colt. was taken to the house of healing for several weeks. she returned home, with her mindspeach starting up. lost in fear of going mad and her grief, she stayed in with her other colt in the barn and would let no one near her. After several weeks of this, Promise finally comes and chooses her. When reaching the collegium, she starts up a dozen fires, when near males, even greys and heralds. she ends up moving into Firesong's old Elke in the Companion's Grove. She is tutored and takes a shine to Keren and Sherrill. Due to her riding skill, she is being trained to take over from Keren, and to take some of the load off Sherrill. She refuse weapons training, continually dropping every weapon handed to her and simply bolting. Kerowyn spooks her especially.
