Personality:
Liya loves everyone and everything that is kind to her. She is always cheerful and friendly. She is intelligent and witty. Barely anything angers her. She is very confident in herself and her abilities. She has had very little experience with 'the real world' because she was always very sheltered by her parents.

Background:
Liya's family always thought her to be a natural healer. When she was little, she would adopt injured animals and care for them until they were well. She always seemed to know what was wrong with them. Surprisingly, the animals seemed to trust her. She also cared for her mother, father, and sister whenever they were sick.

Liya's mother and father were both bards. Although she could sing and play the flute well, her parents never expected her to follow in their footsteps. Her sister, Talmi, who was younger than her by two years, was the real bard out of the two of them. Talmi was always singing to cheer Liya up. Liya loved her sister more than anything in the world.

Liya has two pets, a golden longhaired cat name Ray, and a large black dog named Hetti. She loves both. Ray is amazingly obedient for a cat, she comes whenever Liya calls her and obeys whatever Liya commands her to do. Hetti is very protective and Liya and not all together too bright.

When Liya turned 16, her parents promised to send her off to become a Healer. Although she wished she would never have to leave her family, Liya found herself anxiously awaiting the day when she would start training to become a Healer.
