Name Age Physical Description Morgan's hair is the color of the first rays of mornings golden dawn. His eyes are bright green with visible golden flecks. Morgan's voice is silkily masculine, and his singing voice is very charming (think the singer of "Threes" on Heralds, Harpers & Havoc). Personality/ Attitude Years spent in poverty - and then later years spent in luxury - have instilled in Morgan a healthy love of lavish life - and he most certainly does live the lavish life! Morgan always seems as if he's mildly amused. Those who "do business" with him often find his constant smirk a little unnerving, but those who don't know about his "extracurricular activies" just think he's a good-natured, cheerful man. Very little bothers this cool and easy-going murderer. Morgan almost always takes things in stride, calmly calculating every situation so as to come out on top. Brief History It was then that he was "discovered" by a wealthy man with a foreign accent. The man bought him, ushering in a new chapter in the boy's life. His patron - a decadent young man called Lord Lykeios - immediately "enrolled" the young boy in a vicious "school" in the south. For almost a decade Morgan was beaten and tortured, trained - but never scarred (he would later learn that Lord Lykeios had specified that). Morgan was given special treatment from the other students in that way. In addition to learning how to disguise himself, make poisons, sneak, steal, fight, kill, and all manner of things assassin, he had private tutelage from strange foreigners his Lord sent, men who taught him how to control his weak but incredibly useful Mindspeech, how to dance, how to sing, how to speak many languages - and, strangely enough - taught him business, geography, history, and politics. The young man was taught all manner of things courtly and polite while living and training at a school for all manner of things underhanded and devious. Morgan excelled in his studies, but in the environment of jaded and bitter souls his perpetually mildly amused attitude caused his fellow students and his teachers to never quite trust him. When he "graduated" from the school he was returned to his benefactor, the Lord Lykeios. With his newfound knowledge, it was that much more impressive when he learned that his "Lord" was from the feared Eastern Empire - and, even more surprising was the fact that Lykeios was only about a decade Morgan's senior. In his Lord's keep, Morgan learned what it meant to be born into the lap of luxury. Lykeios kept his "pet" very well taken care of, giving him spectacular food, luxurious rooms, and tasteful clothing, all while continuing his tutelage. One night, Lykeios came to him and finally revealed his wishes. If Morgan would kill his father and older brother, Lykeios promised to "take care of him". If he failed, however, he would be forced to disown the assassin - who would then undoubtedly suffer a very slow, very painful death. Morgan proved his skill by easily dispatching the two men, and Lykeios became the true lord of the estate. Lykeios, being raised in the Eastern Empire, easily realized that Morgan hadn't killed out of loyalty to him but rather out of loyalty to money, and so the young lord decided it was probably best to put the skilled assassin as far out of reach from his richer adversaries as possible. So the young lord sent Morgan to Haven, setting him up with a little tavern and a formidable sum of money. The assassin 'set up shop' and skillfully wove himself into the intrigues of the witchy nation, becoming his master's hidden eyes and ears within the very heart of the war-torn Valdemar, a nation that Lykeios was certain would soon be ripe for the picking... Morgan has more recently become more involved in the business of skillfully and quietly selling information - and in "acquiring" and "peddling" the services of the best assassins he can get his hands on. By subtly promoting strife within the nation, Morgan realizes that he is weakening his target bit by bit - and making a decent profit while doing it, too! Goals in life Gifts An "unofficial" gift Morgan has is his charisma. People naturally and easily trust and like him. Position Morgan runs a rather fashionable tavern in the upper-middleclass districts of Haven.

The Dancing
Fawn is an establishment of impeccable tastes. The whitewashed and
incredibly clean interior has been painted in bold, daring colors and
swathed in the finest fabrics. The tavern is located in a nice part of
Haven - not right among the rich, but not too far from them. Even though
it isn't quite located in the fray of court, it most certainly is a
frequently visited indulgence of the aristocrats and merchants of Valdemar.
The merchants, of course, enjoy The Dancing Fawn because it
is the perfect place to schmooze with all the right people; the
aristocrats, however, find it to be the perfect place to get away from
all the politics and loosen their tongues, finding company that
was a little more enjoyable than their stuffy counterparts - but didn't
have fleas like the lower 'scum' of Haven. The serving girls that work in The Dancing Fawn are pretty and seemingly simple folk. The patrons who frequent the tavern don't think twice about speaking freely among the girls (and boys). How could they know Morgan handpicks them for their almost perfect recitation skills as well as their trusting natures, and sweet, innocent looks? Morgan pays his underlings well and treats them with caring consideration. The handsome man has earned his staff's trust and respect - they've come to love and adore their generous host, and wouldn't betray him for the world. How could they possibly realize that their charming lord is really in the business of acquiring and peddling information and assassins?
