Name:
Muriel Adielson
Position:
Guard (rank: Corporal)
Physical Description:
Muriel is a voluptuous woman with finely honed muscles, bronzed skin,
& a wild mane of waste-length gold-brown hair that cascades down her
back whenever it isn't confined in a single plait. She has a pointed,
elfin face and laughing light brown eyes that sparkle with mischief
even in the most solemn of times. Her one major flaw is her voice -
nasally, grating, and high-pitched, her voice is usually quite
irritating to those around her unless she speaks very very softly.
(Imagine her speaking with the voice of Fran Drescher from "The Nanny".)
Brief History:
Muriel was always the wildest child in her family, even though she was
the only girl. Hunters and trappers all, she lived on the outskirts of
a tiny village in southern Rethwellan, along with her many brothers,
parents and grandparents. They made a tidy living as hunters, trappers
and scouts. Muriel was a natural at shooting and tracking, and soon
outshone her sibs in both. She was raised alongside her brothers as
just another one of the boys, though she was simultaneously doted on
by all of them. She hunted with them, played with them, and as she got
older, brawled with and alongside them.
Footloose and full of wanderlust, she and several of her sibs
eventually wandered away from home to try their luck as mercenaries.
They traveled much of the known world thusly, and all eventually
wandered off on their own to make their fortunes. Muriel eventually
made her way to Valdemar, where she soon joined the Guard.
Personality/Attitude:
Muriel is high-spirited and exuberant (some of her men might interpret
that as "high-maintenance") and enjoys life and all it has to offer to
its fullest. She does have a volatile temper, but once a dust-up has
been settled, all is forgiven and the sun shines brightly. She
entertains herself with a wide variety of physical activities,
including but not limited to hunting, shooting, riding and brawling.
Capricious by nature, she has a veritable harem of men to aid in these
and other endeavors. She is very casual in her bed-side conquests, but
is rarely possessive of them except in the heat of the moment. She
cares for her men, even loves some of them, but not enough to commit
to any single one of them.
Despite being temperamental, she takes her duties seriously, and is
the epitome of the career soldier when in uniform.
