Brief History:
Nathan grew up with Jassea Zrr'hahn. There was a time when he loved her more than life itself. After discovering there was no place for that love, he never pursued her in it, he did not want to risk the strong friendship they had.

Like his childhood friend, he was not content with his life. He wanted more. Just before his 18th birthday, he ran off to seek adventure. He left no note for his parents or his best friend to tell where he had gone. He knew it would break their hearts, especially Jassea, but he told himself that it was something he just had to do. If he told them, they would run after him and they would more than likely be able to convince him to stay. He was on the road no more than a month before he met up with a group of thieves. He learned the *trade* and worked the houses and streets with the best of them for 4 months before deciding that it just wasn't what he wanted. He made inquiries among his dark alley friends and soon became an assassin. With his adept thieving and fighting skills, he was quickly sought after for *delicate* assignments. His ability to assassinate a small group of people without much fuss landed him the job of eradicating the Kettlesmith household. After he studied the grounds for 2 weeks, he knew he had to find a partner. A partner that he would have to kill -- he didn't like loose ends. Throughout his excursions in the streets of Haven as a thief he learned about Jassea being chosen and with some research, had discovered that she was a mage. With information in mind, he sought her out to help him after devising an elaborate lie of helping the queen. Fortunately for him, Jassea fell for the lie, though he knew she was terribly uncomfortable about it. Throughout their journey, he made it a point to distance himself from her, preparing himself for killing his once best friend. After making sure Jassea could handle the mage protecting the family, he quietly slipped off to slaughter them. It was surprisingly quick work for him. He was pleased and waited for Jassea to enter the house, as he knew she would.

He was counting on the shock of the situation to keep her from fighting him. He was surprised that she would actually use her magic against him. When it appeared that she was trying to reason what he had done he decided to strike her fast. He didn't think he would be able to kill her if she looked at him with her bright green eyes. He still had a spark of love for her but self-preservation and the target were all that mattered to him now. His attack failed him as she stopped his dagger with her magic then continued to use it on him.

He thought he was dead but awoke in a prison. He knows that to get his freedom he will have to kill her for she will no doubt hunt him down until she kills him. They grew up together, he knows her, or at least he thinks he does.

Goals:
Nothing. The only thing is the *target*.

This guy is nothing but trouble for anyone who crosses his path. Extreme care is to be taken when approaching him, though, it is preferable to just turn around and let the authorities deal with him.
