Physical Description:
Sashiara's still slender body stands about 5'5" tall. Her waist length black
hair is a startling contrast to her fair skin. It loosely frames her round but
gently angled pretty face. Arched eyebrows rest over soft almond-shaped brown
eyes and blush-pink lips are always parted in an honest smile, revealing
straight white teeth. Her long hair is usually pulled back away from her face in
a loose bun held together with intricately carved sticks given to her by one of
her brothers.
Personality:
History: When Sashiara was
fifteen, she started hearing things. Not just "anything", but the thoughts of
her brothers and those of her father. When she had her back turned to them, she
would have difficulty distinguishing between what was being said and what was
being thought. Her brothers thought that she was going crazy, for she would snap
at them before she would realize that she had heard what they were thinking and
not what was actually said. She had managed to somehow block out what she would
hear from their minds, but little quips would slip through and the most
inopportune times. She honestly thought she was going insane and started packing
to go and live like a hermit away from everyone. Just as she had finished
writing a note to her family and stepped out the door, a Companion by the name
of Arin came to her. Sashiara had only heard
stories of Heralds and their Companions from traveling Bards and secretly wished
that one day she could serve the Queen wearing a uniform of blazing white
astride a shimmering Companion. Her wish had come true, and now she was on her

Sashiara comes from a farming family. She is the eldest of five children as well
as the only daughter. Her mother died while giving birth to her youngest brother
when she was eight years old. By the time she turned ten, she was the mother of
the household. Her father was a very loving man as well as a hard worker. He
provided as best as he could for the family and had all of the boys learn how to
cook to help their older sister with the meals. Her days were mostly spent doing
household chores as well as helping her father and brothers tend the fields.
Whenever she has a moment to herself, she spends her time making colorful
embroidered patches with her dainty hands that she would sell at festivals.

Her primary gift is not Mind Speech, though it is very strong. It is in fact
