Physical Description
Takahane looks mostly like her mother, who a red-tailed hawk type gryphon. Her father was a large mix of goshawk-peregrine falcon, bald/golden-eagle, owl, and a little bit of red-tail. 
As a result, while looking mostly like her mother, she is slightly larger (eagle/goshawk) than a normal red-tailed hawk type gryphon. Her wings are slightly narrower than a broad-wing, but she still counts as a broad-wing, although she is a bit quicker on her diving. In addition, she can see better in the dark than most gryphons can.

Personality
Takahane has a very playful attitude. She loves to tease those who are close to her, and gets joy out of acting arrogant (but naturally she is just kidding when she does so!).

Though gifted with Mindspeech, she is no mage!

History
Takahane is from K'Leysha, and is a descendant of the Black Gryphon (Skandronan and Zhaneel!). She was born in k'Leysha. She's a scholar, and has read all Skandrannon's books (they were passed through the family) She is fluent in Tayldras, Valdemaran, and Hardornen, but knows a few words/phrases from many other languages and is a quick learner is necessary. She is self-taught in these languages. She's been trained for battle flight and hunting (What Gryphon isn't?) and she was selected as part of the delegation to Valdemar because of her heritage, learning ability, nearly photographic memory, and the fact she knows Valdemaran.

Goals in Life
No one knows. If Taka-chan has made any goals for her life, she hasn't told anyone. When asked about them she merely replies, "If I decide now that I want to do something later, something will happen and I won't be able to do it anymore."
