Brief History
Tressa was born in Rethwellan in a town called Petras. Her parents died when she
was 6 years old in a fire set by bandits near her home. She doesn't remember
much of them or her homeland for when her parents died she jumped on her horse
and galloped off running away to the north, fleeing from the bandits. After
journeying for quite some time she found an instrument trader and began working
for him to earn money for her journey. The old instrument merchant looked at
Tressa fairly as his own granddaughter and journeyed with her further north.
When they made it to the northern Rethwellan Mountains Tressa was nearly 14, and
decided to leave her adoptive granddad and travel north on her own. She passed
through the Mountains and made it into Valdemar. Eventually she made it into a
town called Kettlesmith and began working at an inn. One night while she was
working, a Bard discovered her while she was singing to the customers. He told
her that she had a very strong Bardic gift and it should be trained in Haven.
She agreed eventually to go to Haven with him and he looked after her while she
was being taught. Eventually she earned her full reds and became a Master Bard
and Teacher when she was 25.
