"I wrote this poem this evening in 10 minutes, after watching Billy Joel up close and personal on TV tonight. I found him inspiring, and after listening and watching him, I came back to the computer and started tapping out this poem.... It simply flowed! Maybe it was partially inspired by the song he wrote for daughter when she was 7 years old, called "Lullaby", that he sung on the program....together with this lovely set, a beautiful Valentine's poem was born. A dedication to a lover, the wishes and hopes and dreams of being together forever, combined with the promises they made....a journey of a lifetime they take as two bodies and one soul. A journey to the playground where they will always have time for one another despite the fast pace and hectic lives....a playground where they can be one, where they can be together, sharing their love, and relaxing in one another. Cupid's playground....a place to remember and take stock....and remember the joys they share as two hearts and one soul....as Valentines forever."
