Visual Education Project is a charitable science awareness organization based in London, Ontario.
The main objective of VEP is to advance interest of youth in Engineering
and Science by presentation of unique hand-made working models and discussion on what basic
scientific principles they are built.
Our aim is establishing Center of the History of Engineering with a workshop where young people will have the opportunity to participate in models’ and replicas’ building and to motivate their science, creativity and enterprising skills at an early age. VEP programs are focused on school age students helping them to understand the basics of mechanics and engineering and giving them a chance to enhance their educational horizon. By presenting a mechanic process on each and every model we touch a variety of disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics and History. Currently, we have over 60 museum-quality functional replicas such as Collection of Medieval Water Raising Machines, Collection of Siege Engines, Leonardo da Vinci Machines and other models. Our exhibits include machines from ancient time till the Age of Industrial Revolution. |
