THE AGE OF THE EARTH
Almost all of the scientific community, and even most religious people, believe the lie that the earth, and the universe that it dwells in, are billions of years old. There is a common weakness in most people, and that is that, if a lie is told to them often enough, especially from so called experts, they will believe it. So this unbiblical lie is now accepted as a matter of fact. These confused and confusing people will, no matter what they are talking about, make a simple thing unesessarily complex, to justify the amount of time they have wasted cluttering their minds with this nonsense. It's also a vain attempt to make themselves feel superior by confusing you. There is proof of the 6000 year age theory. 1 - Earth rotation. Because of solar and lunar gravitational drag forces, the spin of the earth (now about 1,000 mph [1,609 kmph]) is gradually slowing down. If our world was billions of years old, it would already have stopped turning. Or, calculating differently, a billion years ago our planet would have been spinning so fast—it would have become a pancake. So, either way, our earth cannot be more than a few thousand years old.
2 - Magnetic field decay. Earth's magnetic field is slowly, relentlessly lessening. Even 7,000 years ago, the earth would have had a magnetic field 32 times stronger than it is now. Only 20,000 years ago, enough heat would have been generated to liquefy the planet. Therefore, the earth cannot be over 6,000 or 7,000 years old. This is an important matter, affects the entire planet, and has been measured for over 150 years.
The Bible says that the earth was created in six days. And on the seventh day He rested. Now, the Bible also says that a day to God is like 1000 years. So, if you are a Christian, you would come to the conclusion that the earth was created in 6000 years. The Bible also states that when Christ returns, he will reign for 1000 years. If you follow that same train of thought, you would have to conclude that after 6000 years since the first sabbath, that Christ will return, to rule for the next 1000 year sabbath. Human history, as we know it, dates back about 6000 years. Of course,this, along with world events spiraling out of control, can only lead to one conclusion, that the second coming is at hand, and we had better be ready for it.
