The mission of VBC as an undergraduate school of religion, is to teach the Word of God in truth. VBC is dedicated to upholding a high standard of Christian education, and with the helpof God, prepare men and women for the work of the ministry of the Body of Jesus Christ.

The purpose of VBC is to glorify God through the teaching of His Word. VBC will provide a high quality Christian education to each student who attends.

ACCREDITATION

Vallejo Bible College (VBC) is accredited through the Accrediting Commission International (ACI). ACI is one of the largest non-government accrediting associations and serve 270 schools in 39 of the United States, and in five other countries around the world. Transferal of credits from VBC to another college or university is at the sole discretion of the receiving institution.

COMPLIANCE

Vallejo Bible College (VBC) is in compliance with the Private Post-Secondary and Vocational Education as a religious school, a qualified exemption to California Education Code (CEC) 94739 (b)(6), and has current status as a non-profit religious corporation under the Corporations Code.

VBC was incorporated in the State of California as a non-profit religious corporation in April 2001. Tax exemption status has been received from both the California Franchise Tax Board and the Internal Revenue Service.

Classes are held at the Tabernacle of David Missionary Baptist Church located at 1100 Lincoln Road East, Vallejo, on the East Frontage Road of I-80. VBC’s Administrative Office staff may be contacted at the following addresses:

PROGRAM INFORMATION

VBC has four educational programs from which the student may choose to attain a degree or diploma:

  • Diploma in Biblical Students
  • Associates of Biblical Studies
  • Bachelor of Theology
  • Bachelor of Christian Missions

These programs have been designed to help meet the need of the student in their ministry and Christian life. Courses are held over a 11-week period for each quarter (class sessions are 2-1/2 hours each). Elective courses offered are those courses that are not a requirement for a particular degree program.

VBC’s academic year consists of three quarters—Fall, Winter and Spring. There is not a summer session currently being offered at VBC.
