A prismatic dragoness of some length watched as the tiny form of a young male appeared on a beach and then fainted dead away. Her rider said nothing - Teme did not need to - and Jiyan sped towards the misfortunate young man. Whoever he was, he would have been in great danger if he didn't awaken before high tide - if they had not spotted him, that is.
Gingerly, the Lao Daemian Queen lifted the lad, and holding him close to her silvery-rainbow chest, sped towards Kjanli'eyr, which was much nearer now than their home at Pelar.

Teme was familiar with the place - though it had not been on Lao Daemia when she visited last - and delivered the boy into the capable hands of the healers. She could not stay, as her duties at home called - and Jiyan could hardly teleport them back while her rider was pregnant. That would just not do.
As the wild colored dragoness vanished over the horizon, the young man stirred. "Wh…where am I?" he asked, blinking at the yellow sunlight.
"Kjanli'eyr, on Lao Daemia." The healer supplied. "How are you feeling?"
"My head aches…" Dellin said absently.
"And right it should." M'raz said, his arms folded across his chest as he leaned against the wall. "The backlash from your teleport caught more than one sensitive off guard."
Dellin winced. That would cost him. Then it sunk in. He'd thrown himself to an entirely different world. Yikes.
"So what's your name?"
"Dellin." He replied. No use lying, he was here for the duration.
"Well met, Dellin." The man said, stepping to the bedside. "I'm M'naz, Head Searcher for Kjanli'eyr."
Dellin's mind raced for an answer, but stopped short, remembering with a start that he'd not be able to know what people were talking about here. "Searcher?"
M'naz's face betrayed nothing. "A sensitive of sorts, who can easily pick out those capable of forming a bond with a dragon."
The boy's amber eyes went wide. "There are dragons here?" he gasped.
M'naz laughed. "Of course! Come, I'll introduce you to my Falaath…"

Dellin could only gawk at the blue.
You're right. Definite potential. The blue said to his rider.
Dellin's eyes met the dragon's gaze. "Did you say that?"
Falath nodded. You can hear me?
Dellin nodded back. "It's clearer when you address me personally, Falaath, but I'm hardly a trained telepath."
M'naz considered this. Were all telepaths from Dellin's world capable of hearing all dragons? If so, would a trainer from there be able to help HAD's get a handle on the draconic voices in their heads? It was worth investigation, surely.
Dellin, would you like to stand as a candidate? Bond a dragon of your own?
The 14 year old grinned. "Would I ever!"
I'll take that for a yes. Falaath chuckled.
